Roto Start???

Question, I am going to extend my savy (X-XL). I was looking at the FLM extended LCG TVP's. Will this hinder the roto start? I hate pull starts! Thanks for the help.

A regular length roto start shaft will not work with extended TVP's, regardless of who makes them, so you will need to get a longer shaft. Your LHS may have the longer roto shaft.

Another option is to get a pull start so you do not need to worry about the roto.

You need to have the 225mm shaft. I was able to reach the backplate at an angle though. Don't recommend it though. Just until I get the longer shaft.

I have the roto start 2 with the FLM ext. and I can still reach my motor to start. Just picked up a losi starter and shaft for the new motor though and I know it won't reach so I gotta do some thinking now...

So the extended shaft would work even if the FLM ext. TYP's are LCG? I thought I read some where that the LCG would cause a problem as far as the roto-start is concerned?

I have the FLM extended LCG and used roto-start with mine without any problems.

Now I did have a wheelie bar and had to take it off, it is VERY close but just push the bumper in some if you can't get it.

I used roto start with mine for about 5 gallons
