Hey guys I'm looking to get the RF 1 receiver for my savage, I tore my antenna off over the weekend. I put a post on the wanted section and got a reply for a RX 1 receiver are the almost the same thing? will it work on the savage? or can I just soder a new antenna on to the receiver. If so what kind of wire do I need. Cheers!!:beer:

you can resolder on the antenna wire to the board, just be careful and use minimal heat. worst case is u fry the receiver its trash to you now anyway

great so just get a new wire? what kind of wire should I use?

tower has antenna wire, I'm sure you could just buy the same guage wire at an electrical store but who knows, the diereance is prolly just the strand count from tower compared to an electrical store
