Reverse?

I have an XL and was just thinking about putting in a reverse. I don't NEED it but it would be nice to have sometimes. The shop i bought it at said it was senseless because everyone was taking them off so I'm a little torn on the idea.

I have it in one of my savages and never use it to be honest. If you don't have a 3ch radio don't do it

I'm right with you, reverse would of been nice when i first got the truck, so i could back away from trees, cars, etc. but since i have a 5 acre field to run it in, reverse is kind of pointless to me.

I have reverse but only use it when my truck gets stuck halfway up some gravel pile I was trying to conquer. But the reverse mixer is junk, only do it if you have a receiver with a 3rd channel on it.

Yeah i have a huge field to and reverse isnt needed much here but we have alot of fence posts which would make it nice to have. lol

I personally hate reverse. Weak design. Lots of people blow them up and remove it later. Pic of the most common part to break for me.

+1 on that Jimmy. I had one go on me in my first race......cus I was using it to cheat !!
It's always funny to see the marshal almost get to it just as you drive off

I've still got reverse, but I think if it goes again I won't bother replacing it. Like Grumpy said, it's a poor design and won't take any abuse.

Yea, it was ok for the original .21 that came in the first Savage, but they haven't upgraded it since. The .28's today are just too much for it.
