reverse or no reverse?

i have two savages one with a three speed and one with a two speed trans and was thinking about putting reverse in both trucks but wasnt sure if it was worth it or i would like your guys input on the subject thanks

IF it breaks your truck wont move unless you rip it out, or repair it. I know because i broke mine once. The gears are VERY weak if you are moving even a little bit and change it to reverse they will shatter. Other guys on here hate them for this and that they take away speed from the truck, also adds weight. Nice to have tho if you plan on ending up in the bushes and all.

It's all a personal preference. Some people like having it, others don't. Some one will say if you learn how to drive good you wont need it. I don't see anything wrong with having it. It is nice to not have to run to push it back off something you cant get over.

I really like having reverse. I don't race, purely drive the truck for fun and just putting around. Reverse has saved me many times from having to go get the truck unstuck.

ive personally never ran one ... but i have enough moving parts that break already so why add more?lol would come in handy but still does that conveinence out weigh the time it takes to revuild things that can go wrong?

I had reverse on my of my trucks , It busted in the first couple runs , I wouldn't put another one in my trucks.the gears are just way to soft for a savage.
