reverse anyone ?

anyone running reverse in there truck i decided to takel putting it in and last night i got my truck all ready to run for this moring and i get it out fire it up and it wont drive i put it in reverse and it gose i put it in gear nothing ... anyone els have simular problems??money man

you have it set wrong, the slider that goes in/ot from the trans needs to lock in/out the REV module prperly in order to FWD/REV properly/

mmm could u explain that in more detaile why i try and figure out

when the servo is one position - its locked (all the way in the transmission)

when the servo is in the opposite direction - the slider arm from the transmission is out far enough to engage FWD.

there are instructions included with the Rev. Mod. whereas a collar/fuel line/collar is used to set it up with measurement.

take the time to set it up correctly and it will work for you.

26mm from collar to collar on the linkage (#87033c) from the servo to the rev module arm (#87033A) from the trans.

o yea i did all that i followed the instrustions but its not working followed everything from the bgining

Then it might be set wrong on the servo itself

mmm okay another thing i noticed when i tighting up the tranny ase it gets almost imposiable to spin the spur gear

with the electronics on (truck off) lol

hit the Reverse switch.... watch the arm, it should go ALL the way into the trans locking the module in gear.

hit the switch again, watch the servo arm again, it should come out far enough disengaging the rev module.

yup tried that all iam pretty lost now everything u have told me to do i have done and i just put it in the truck and tried it again .. i get revers but when it gose to forward it stillwont do anything tranny almsot makes a weird sound now

hrmmm....

maybe pop the arm off the servo and do it manually by hand to see where the threshold points are (engage/disengage) see if that helps ya out?

okay well i do belive the problem is not in my servo its the reverse itself the servo engage and disengaged the tranny from fwd and reverse but the problem is in the gears of the tranny... like what i did i put it all together and then tightend the bolts around the tranny and it made it imposiable for the gears to turn inside the tranny .. dose that make sence
