Recommended mods to a XL out of the box

Ok not far off from buying a XL. Wanted to see what mods you all would recommend on a XL out of the box. I have seen alot of talk about the lean issue and either a mid tank mod or a better tank. Also the third gear swap and metal first. Anything else?

Tires.... those big terrapins suck personally. Some big bores if you are going to jump high. I never had a midtank lean issue but if you are considering a mid tank mod just get a savage X save some cash.
