Rebuild or buy a new Engine

Ok I have been running an OS 30vgp, which has incredible power. It has been a pain to tune lately so seems like it is due for a piston and sleeve. I am just wondering if paying about $50 for a new piston and sleeve, or $120 for an STS .30 which was suggested. Which has more power? I bought the OS 30 second handed, so durability from my stand point is that it has run fantastic for the 4 months that I have had it. So any suggestions would be Great!


BTW, just received a Dynamite Mach 28, guy gave it to me said he kept breaking dog bones with it. I have a extra savage 3 shoe flywheel, does the Mach 28 use the same pilot nut? And anything I should know about this motor?

I would say give the rebuild a shot.(if the bearings seem ok) and the crank looks fine.. No sence buying another engine just to have the os go to waste.

And also I think your pilot nut and flywheel WILL fit ..
