Really Stiff Mugen Springs

I have Mugen 1.0 clutch springs and they seem ridiculously stiff. They are put on correctly but it is soooo hard for me to move the clutch shoes. Are they suppose to be this stiff? Anything I should worry about?

yup and no!

my hpi shoes came with 0.9 and 1.0 mm springs, i'm running the 1.0's and all is well.
