obbi... I moved your post and made you a new thread. Not having a Futaba or a 3S I cannot give you my opinion on the differences between the two.

i have both and i like the spektrum the best it easier to adjust than the futaba. the control on the dx3s is great. hope this helps out

I like the spektrum also but some people I know prefer the Futaba I guess its your preference and sometimes the cost also that will determine which one to choose.
 
I have the Futaba 3PM and its been great. No problem setting it up and the manual is pretty good if you need to refer to it. I heard that the Spectrums were more prone to being faulty than the Futaba but i don't know for sure. Anyway.. +1 for the 3PM from me.

absolutely the same findings i've had. the manual is extremely handy & thorough for setup too.

another +1 for the 3PM
 
I like my Futaba, but i bet they are both good especially when compared to the standard TX. I used to spend ages trying to get the brake, steering and throttle lined up properly. Now its really easy with just a few button presses on the TX.
 
yeah guys, no disrespect meant for the spectrum, i've never used one.

the features on this 3PM are enough for me.(for now anyways lol)
 
i think that the 3pm is too much for me! i like being able to adjust epa's, that way i can limit the throttle and let my cousin drive. but as far as anti lock brakes and all that other tadooha i don't really have a need for it.
