what is this? i have nothing like this on my savage and I'm trying to set the linkage.. its the savage 21 manual

That is your t/b trim knob they just pictured it as a switch instead of a knob.

they use it as an example becuase people when they think rc they think stick controller so they are trying to teach you that putting the trigger forward that is the same as pulling the stick back and so on or some people like stick controllers better and buy those
