pull start question

Hey guys bear with me I'm new to this. I want to try out a pull start and I noticed you can buy them with or without a one way bearing. How do I know if I need it or not? Thanks

what is on your engine now? if is a rotostart unit it will have a 1 way bearing inside it, but it never hurts to have a spare one so I would go for the pullstart with the one way bearing included.....
