so my father and brother both have a savage and they jump it all the time. now I'm a spring maker so they asked me to make them some new spring for there trucks. so i got the specs off the stock spring and the spring a a rate of 1.7 lbs
others you can buy form hpi are a little better but not much the rate goes up like .3 to .4 lbs so that is 2.0 to 2.1 lbs. so what i did is used bigger wire
.0625 size wire the best hpi springs use .054 size wire. now with the .0625 size the spring rate goes up tp 4.6 to 4.8 lbs. now i was looking online to see if anyone had anything like this and there is only one and they are claiming they have a triple rate spring 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0 ppi (pound per in). this triple rate spring i know cause i make spring for a living is not right cause a spring can only have one rate it can have 1 or 2 and sometime 3 LOADS but not 1 or 2 or 3 rates.
but anyway i have made some sets of these spring the rate is allmost triple the rate of your stock spring and double the rate of the hop up one you can but. i have had the spring clear zinc plates so the look like chrome.

Makeing the springs are ok and a cool idea... But This is your first post.. and as far as we know your just trying to make a quick buck.. Please sick around but read the rules for selling items that CRASH had posted !!!

i have sold thing on a couple of forums befor and the best way to do thing is thought paypal cause if you pay me with paypal and you don't get what ever i have sold you the but a hold on the money till it resolved. that is the way i like to do thing so it is safe for both partys
