Picco .26 New 3 piece Clutch Set

I was wondering if anyone else has a OFNA Picco .26 and tried to get an upgraded clutch set. I picked up a T7086 Integy 3 piece clutch set today and cant seam to get the bell housing to sit right. I have to much space when I go to put the screw on. I know I need some washers but I don't know what ones or what order they would go on.

I do not have any info or manuals on this truck or motor(not that they would help, I downloaded them) I picked it up off some 16yr kid I know.

i have a picco .26 on my x too and am having some problems, on my 3rd spur this week and my clutch shoes are gone. having trouble tuning it too. maybe ill just let the truck sit apart for a while until i figure this thing out.

picco and wasp are difficult engines to tune don't give up, mine likes a lean high speed and a fat low speed to run right

any for spurs, mine at 1 every tank for a long time, turns out at first the shoes were slipping on the bell (liek what urs sounds like) and heating upt he spur shredding it apart. get alum shoes if you don't have them and 1.0 springs, or if u are running carbon shoes (not good for this engine) swap them out and run alum with 1.0 springs and the engine will run better

also check the engine plate and mount, mine were bent also causing it to eat spurs

also for the bell, i had to shim mine a bunch, just use washers that have an opening the same size as the crank, and then stack them up till ur a hair under the crank line so whent he screw is tight the bell can spin freely

this is one of my favorite budget engines, once you get it tuned right and running you will be impressed by the speed and power it makes

i just ripped off my cb and found out that my shoes are shredded, looks like they are stock. there is a bolt looking object that the clutch springs grab onto that i cannot remove to check the bearing for leaks, the motor looks half sealed. any help with this? the pins on the flywheel make it very difficult to remove this bolt and i don't want to strip it.

use a socket (10mm i think) its the flywheel nut gonna have to grab the flywheel with plyers or something

then u weel need a bearing puller to pull the flywheel off. you will know if it is leaking there will be oil all over the truck:
