Well, it's not other car or truck, sorry. I picked up this Proboat Mini V pretty cheap at the LHS. After seeing all the mods people do to them I was sold. It never even touched the water stock so I don't know what kind of improvements I made. I beleive the stock electronics were bad anyway as it wouldn't run longer than 45 secs. I used a LRP Quantum Pro speed control, a micro Futaba RX, and a High Tec HS-56HB feather light servo. I also used a wing from an AE 18R Nightline body and Deans connectors all around. All parts I had laying around! Since I had it close, I used some 20,000wt diff fluid to lube the rubber seal for the servo rod and the universal joints, this helped alot. Enjoy.
