Orion V6 CRF Clutch... which clutchbell?

Sooo just got myself a shiney new clutch for the shiney new STS30 thats winging its way over to me from the US...

Pretty huh?

Anywhoo manual says to use it with a clutchbell with an Internal diameter of between 26mm and 26.5mm no larger! I've read about people trying 27mm bells and the clutch not engaging.

So what brands of bells work? Can't find any shortlists, and its not a spec that many manufacturers seem to list.

I got a reply back from K-Factory and their bells are 26.5mm, that would work except the're kind of hard to get hold of.

Ideally i'd like to run a 26mm bell as i believe i would get longer usable life out of the clutch shoes.

So anyone know?

Be interesting to here how your clutch setup work with an STS30. Second it is purrrty. Have you tired getting ahold of Axial and see what there CB dia. is. They might be easy to get a reply from. They are vented steel bell. Robinson racing is another one.

My HPI 17 tooth vented is 26mm.

Thanks for the pointers guys. Thought about contacting Axial, their bells look nice but i can't find a single Axial CB over here (UK). I'll email them anyway, it'd be useful info for someone else.

Might just end up getting a HPI vented then, 26mm would be perfect.

I'll post up some more info on the clutch when i get it hooked up to the STS and get some fuel through it.

Well got a reply back from Axial:

The clutch bell should work no problem. The are the same size as the Hpi clutch bells. Thanks for your e-mail

Its a little vague for my liking though, if its the same size great, if its almost the same size it could be a problem. Looks like its probably going to be a HPI bell, shame would have liked to have tried something more exotic...
