So before discovering this forum I bought a golden Lion Sh 28 engine. and really didn't find any info about this motor until recently ie the conrods being the weak link of the motor.

I scored the motor for about $110 shipped for a new one off ebay. So I figured if it blows up, I'll just buy a LRP, or Picco engine and be done...

has anyone here had any experiece with the SH 28 engine?

I found this thread from another forum about the engine... the last poster comments were interesting.. in saying that Golden Lion makes nitro star series for HPI, LRP, STM engines.. Any truth in this?

SH and the LRP are sister mills
Also the F 4.6 is made by force and the K 's are made by King star or something close to that

i have ran a sh and gotten 10 gallons before it blew your good the con rods were in the first production runs ie several yearts ago and only on the 3 ports the ones with black or blue heads right there you got a 6 port it should rip. to let you know they like to run cool so don't freak out when you cant get it past a temp hope this helps any more questions shoot me a pm
