one way bearing problem

hey guys so i bought my savage back in feb and I'm already on my second one way bearing. I don't thinking I'm doing anything wrong but i just cant figure out why i keep blowing these things up. any ideas???

I too have the same problem. I found out that if u stick an o-ring on the shaft, then clean and grease the shaft, they last a lot longer. some people have trouble with owbs, some don't. it's wierd

whitch side of the bearing should i put the o ring on?

Mine to is starting to slip bloody pain in the arse haha

ya it really is more so when u get all excited bout going out there and bashing then it don't turn over

Happend to me once got to where I take it and it just slipped came home and cleaned it and it was ok for about 3 more sessions out bashing

that's my last line of defense. 1/2" nut with a set screw

I have just cleaned mine with a verry strong de greaser again . then put it on the shaft the rong way so the bearing can spin freely to clean all the rollers then washed it under the tap. then with sum kitchen roll in a long tubed shape dried it all of again on the rong way so it can spin freely . Now catches first time
