I have 3 month old Blue Thunder 20% fuel. Is it fine if I break in my Axial .28 with it? The fuel has been stored in my garage on a rubber mat on my workbench. It's has been 40-60 degrees in there, so the fuel has never froze? Is it fine for my new engine?

if it's a new bottle never been opened stored that cool. It's fine

Oh yeah I forgot it's been opened I have about 1/2 gallon in it.

Is it safe to use the opened 1/2 gallon jug?

i cant see why not ?

never had fuel sit myself for that long, but if you plan to use that fuel in the engine all the time i reckon there should be no problem.

give it a shake first maybe 😛

OWBs hate Blue Thunder IMO. I had nothing but trouble with slipping OWBs and burned out glowplugs. Too much oil in that fuel is what I have been told was the problem.

I'll get some Trinity Monster Horsepower 20%, I've heard good things from it.

Trinity is good and its made dy the same people that make HPI fuel. I didnt like the Monster Brew but the Monster HP is good stuff.

youll have no problem with it. Its when its years old that ull have to worry.

Actually I'm Not Budding In On Purpose Or Being A Jerk But Blue Thunder Has A Low Oil Content
Blue Thunder (sport)= 20%nitro 11%oil
Blue Thunder(race)=20%nitro 9%oil

I Use Backyard Basher Which Is 20%nitro 16%oil And My Truck Runs Great! I Did However Buy A Bottle Of Blue Thunder Once And My Truck Ran Really Hot, Then When That Bottle Was Gone I Managed To Get Some Backyard Basher And My Temp Returned To Normal! My Lhs Says That Stuff Runs Too Hot and blows glow plugs!! He Suggested Wildcat Elimnator which has 14% oil i think But I've Never Tried It! Check Out A Company Called Radio Controlled Sports And Hobbies On The Internet They Have A List Of The Different Fuels Oil Contents Hope This Helps someone!

put it this way alot of people like the traxxas fuel and it has like 18% oil i think but thats a little to much plus I'm savageshaun so i don't deal with traxxas lmao

Yeah I stopped using Blue Thunder a long time ago.

But I've Also Heard Alot Of Oil Isnt Necessarily A Good Thing! Keeping Your Engine Lubricated Is Essential But Too Much Oil Apparently Does Just As Must Damage... So I've Heard!! But Like I Said I haven't Had Any Problems With The Morgans Backyard Basher! and morgans is a world renown supplier of racing fuel apparently so I'm happy with it!

i had about a half gallon of fuel from a year ago that i have been using recently. i shook it up, used it, and it hasn't given me any problems.

The trick in keeping youf fuel good under any conditions is
