Ofna .28 Hyper Mach w/Pull Start

Are these good engines. I know a guy who is willing to sell me one brand new for really cheap but I am concerned as I don't understand why it's so cheap. And it is brand new, pulled from a hyper.

I had a ofna 26 and it was a good dependable engine

I have heard really good things about the piccos I just don't know about this one. It's definitely not in the same price range. If it could flog the pants of my miserable stock .25 I'd be happy. How miserable is my .25, it is barely able to hit 3rd. It has been horrible since day one.

on the other hand . my 25 has been one of the best engine I have owned

My .25 never ran properly. A lot of it has probably been due to the fact it was my first nitro engine. I didn't seal it from the start. I messed up the carb a bit. I have fixed those things now and it still doesn't run great. And when I say cheap I am saying around the $80 to $90us. So I am wondering if it is worth giving it a go especially if I can still use the hpi polished pipe.
