So my clutch was slipping big time and I take it apart and this is what I see. The shoes are destroyed. It looks like they were rocking sideways. Man these things don't have a half a gallon on them. I thought when I put them on they felt like the holes might have been just a little sloppy. Any comments?

the pic is all blurred out so that's no good. What engine do you have, what springs where did you shim out setup etc.. More info

PLEASE. Give us detailed info.

I think he runs a Axial .32. Blazer this is a big assumption seeing how the picture is blurry, but I don't think they are destroyed. I think you don't know how your shoes should look after a 1/2 a gallon. Post a better pic so we can give you some real advice.

Well I figured it out, somehow I put the wrong pilot nut on. This thing is almost .2oo" too long and the spring groove in the wrong spot. What is puzzling to me is where did it come from, I had to have gotten it wrong from hpi because all my engines have the same pilot nut. I can't believe it went together as well as it did. Oh well, I purchased some mugen 1.0mm spring and I'm gonna try to salvage the nova shoes even though one of them is much narrower from sliding back and forth on the steel pins on the flywheel and rubbing on the clutch bell. oh and by the way I'm running an lrp.28 now😛hil:
