Noob questions

Hi I have a multitude of questions but will start with 2
Ive broke in the engine not in any special way but just taking it easy. 1st question..... why wont my savage wheelie? Is it because I have the goliath tyres? Maybe its not running at its best? I don't realy know how it should be performing. The engine is a thunder tiger pro 28.
2nd question sometimes my truck wont move when I first start it. The spur and slipper are all spinning and it sounds like a shaft is spinning freely inside the gearbox. Then the problem disapears!!
Any help would be great
