I'm new to the R/C world and I decided owning one savage wasnt good enough, so I bought another one.
Before tuning the 2nd savage, which I bought used, I reset all the dials back to stock, replaced all the lines, and added a tuned hpi pipe.
I followed the same procudere as my 1st savage and started with the HSN and got it tuned to where there was enough power to wheelie with some top speed and the temp reached 230f. Next was the LSN, which I adjusted by a 1/4 turn. Everything was fine except for the idle speed. Now the problems:
1. when I apply the brakes all the way the throttle linkage wants to move as well. It moves enough for the throttle body gets pushed back.
2. the truck walks when I leave it on the ground so I adjusted the idle needle and all it wants to do is die. I have checked the linkage and have also taken the air filter off to check the throttle and everything looks good. Any ideas?
