I have the ds8611a digital servo and it is noisy when I turn the steering.. Is that ok? Why is it noisy I don't understand and my buddy has the hitec 5955tg and I don't hear anything.... What's the deal??

Any comments are appreciated. 🙂

what does it sound like?
how much did you pay for the servo?
does it appear to be functioning properly?

mine did that and i had to turn the steering end points down a bit "if your radio has it" could be the steering is trying to turn farther then the servo will allow and this makes it hum pretty loud, well it did on mine anyway and i was told this is really hard on your servo's and will wear them out pretty quick..

It working fine yes and I paid around 115 for it.

It's making the noise even when I'm nit moving yhr steering....

I think my radio does have it. I have the 100% thing on each direction/... Reduce it to 90% I guess??..... But the servo is making the noise when the car is still....steering is still

The humming is reduced to barely the servo making and sound when the wheels are in a particular position which is dead center. That's hard because when I turn the steering the wheels don't go back fully they stay crooked so I have to turn the wheels yhr opposite way to get them back to straight position.

Long story short the wheels don't bounce back so the servo is 'fighting' to put them back I guess... I'm not sure why the wheels don't bounce back to their straight position... They bounce back just a little bit. Any reasons why???

might be worth contacting the mfr customer service also, where you paid a lot of money for the servo.

my hitec buzzes.

I bough this fromthe hobby store.... I can still call customer service or jr?? Not to mention I've had this servo for more than 2 years
