NEWBIE help needed with 17mm hexes

Not sure if its my work computer or there is no description of these hubs, other than "hpi hub converters", but these look like pro-line 23mm hex hub adapters. If they are a 23mm hex, you need to use a wheels that takes a 23mm hex. Hope this helps you out
 
welcome to the forum my friend, glad to have you here with us.....I'm not sure what those hubs are to be honest but in the title of this thread you mention there 17 mm hexes if this is the case you can run most regular monster truck tires and rims, if there the 23 mm then as was mentioned you will need the 40 series rims or others like them i believe, please correct me if I'm wrong folks lmao as i've never run the 23mm hexes...and again welcome to the forum...

welcome to the forum.... 23mm. hexs ..limit your options on wheels I'm afraid... theres several 23mm wheels out there but the 17 mm just gives you way more options is all... think these are the hexs you posted,, don't know for sure though..

thats just a few,, hope it helps ... but as foe the fireball tires i don't think they are 40 series so they wont fit the 23mm rims... sorry youll have to choose 1 or the other 23mm rims or 17mm rims n fireball tires ... hope this helps you out...heres the tire rim combo

yo Landy.....make sure that your steering servo can take on the 7" wheels.......
 
ya and the big tires change your gearing to a certain degree as well so you may have change your gear ratio a bit........

ya the only reason i knew that was i bought a set of the huge tires and didnt change the gearing and my truck ran awful, it had no take off at all!! its nice to actually have some input to give once in a while lol
