New Traxxas radio question.

So I got a new Traxxas Jato 3.3 not long ago, with the telemetry receiver with the IPhone docking station. Last weekend I got the Traxxas Link app for my IPhone and tried it out. It is way cool!! My question is, does anyone know whether this system would work on my other older non Traxxas vehicles, like my Savage?

Device Requirements
Traxxas Link is designed for iPhone (4S, 5, 5C, 5S), iPod touch (5th generation and later versions), iPad (3rd generation and later versions), or iPad mini. For full functionality, Traxxas Link requires a Traxxas TQi transmitter with Traxxas Link Wireless Module and a TQi receiver installed in the model. Telemetry functions require Traxxas telemetry sensors to be installed on your model.

Don't see why you couldn't use on the Savage but you would have to install the TRX radio system on the truck including the telemetry sensors. And that might be sacrilegious. 🙂
