Anyone ever use them? my buddy has one on his lst2 and it takes a beating and keeps on going. just trying to put something together on my extended flm to protect my motor a little better

And has anyone tried it with flm tvp's. Since new era's tech support had a wonderful response i have to find out on my own.

I have seen this before but not in purple. Looks like a very sturdy roll cage. It does add a little weight, but it looks like it will provide good protection for the engine. A body will fit over this, but needs to sit a little higher.

Thats the cage this is the roll bar

I'm just playing around with some ideas. They also make the cage for the xl which i was wondering if it would fit the flm tvp's. I made a plate to extend the stock rollbar which ill post pics of tomorrow. it still isnt as strong as i would like it to be.

the xl is longer than the flm tvp's are. so i don't believe the roll cage will fit. unless you use the rear bolt on the trans...then maybe, but i don't know for sure.

I think the roll bar will fit either the X or XL TVP's since it goes on the front and I would assume it will work with the FLM TVP's. Would be a good question to ask FLM customer service if the roll bar would fit with there TVP's.

Well new eras response was we make our own tvp's so we don't know! talk about garbage! And if the xl tvp's area little longer i could always weld and repowdercoat it

i like how the roll cage will fit up under the body & it looks like it will bolt right up to the flm's, but I'm not sure how much more protection it will give to the heat sink. does your buddy have the roll cage or bar & how well does it protect his engine?

I have one of the setup's that Allan showed. It works with the New Era extended, and the stock. I just had to use the front or rear screws on the tranny to mount depending on which chassis I was using.
