I saw this on another thread, you can by the drop down wheel it's self and convert the 3r to a 3r pro for like $60.

You would still have the telemetry, but with a drop down wheel.

if you convered a 3r you wouldnt have it. unless the mod was to change the whole board. A stock 3r doesnt have telemetry

you all bash that late at night? Its a gimmic imo. even telemetry is. I don't really look at my radio all that much. If I had telemtry in my 3r i would a bit more.

They are making a DSM 2 Rx for telemetry

I saw a guy with a LOSI at the R/C Bash on Saturday that had one of these. I thought that thing could control the space shuttle! I would need a course at the local community college to learn to use one of those. The cool thing was the temp sensor around the cooling head that relayed the engine temp back the the transmitter. He could set an upper limit on the transmitter so that it set off an alarm if the engine exceeded the pre-set limit.
