need help

so i was driving my car and its not pulling because the clutch bell not touching the spur gear how can i ajust the height for it can touch

The height isn't adjustable. You need to lossen the screws securing the motor mount to the plate and slide it towards the SG. Use a strip of paper from the manual that came with the truck to set your gear mesh unless you feel comfortable settng it by feel. That's what most members do if they have been in the RC game for awhile. All you need is a slight amount of play between the CB and SG. Also, locktite the screws securing the motor mount to the plate.

Igot it moving now but the slipper gear keep engaging it won't pull a lot but I tighten it yestersai now its bac loose

I told you the other day go local parts store they have the loctite get the blue .

that sounds like a slipperclutch, tighten the nut down all the way on the spur, then back it off 1/2 turn and see

go to the autoparts store and get yourself blue locktite, you can use that on the slipper assembly although I never have. I usually just tighten the slipper down all the way and not back it out any. as for your motor I would suggest buying 4mm split lock washers, you can get them at a local hardware store and use them along with locktite to secure your motor mount to the motor plate. while your getting 4mm lock washers id get some 3mm lock washers also and use them on the screws that hold your motor onto the motor mounts with locktite. that will greatly minimize any chance of your motor moving under stress. your lucky you didnt eat up a spur and or destroy your clutchbell as your motor slid away from the spur.

i already did that swamp. i drove it for a day and the next day it was loose but I'm going to try that f1n
