need help with clutch system

hi i recently switched from the 2 shoe setup to the 3 shoe setup on my S-25 but now when u spin the flywheel by hand you can see it just spins on the crank... I am confused as to what is wrong. Please help! Thanks in advance

is the piolit nut tight ? How does the collet look ?

sounds like you haven't got the pilot nut tightened down far enough, its trick y to do but what I do is pull the flywheel with one hand towards the engine, and tighten it down, it will eventually grab and then you can grab the flywheel with a wrench and then tighten it down.

Welcome to the forum and check what Jeremy said. Tighten replace as needed.

the collet is brand new and i tightened it as far as i could but maybe its not tight enough ill give it another check

lol no thats ok anyways more on the problem when i put the collet on there before i even get a flywheel on it u can tell it spins loosely by hand and it seems like its too big...Is it supposed to spin freely or be tight before u even slide the flywheel on
