Need Futaba 3 PM help

says "the transmitter output signal format can be changed. (HRS/PPM) Check if modulation mode is set to desired mode.


i do not know what these modes are or which i should be running & can't find any further explanation in my manual.


Manual was obviously written for someone with more knowledge/experience in this area than i possess at the present time.

The PPM is meant for Analog servos and just transmits at a little slower rate but is still much higher than 72mhz or anything. The HRS mode is for fast transmitting and talking back and forth. Servos will be more accurate because of this. However, analog servos can NOT be run in HRS mode or you will fry them..

I'm sure there is a lot more to it than this but thats what I know.

Thanks Larz, thats good to know cuz I'm running analog at the moment till i can scratch up & get digital later in life.
