need tips to make stock savage 25 steer better, turn a little tighter, any suggestions? don't mind spending a little for alot of improvment

What servo do you have? Also what servo saver? I run a hitec 645mg steering servo and the x cam type servo saver (stock on the x 4.6 rtr)

I agree with 25. He has listed a few great upgrades and things that will help a lot for a few $$. Another is to get a hump pack if you haven't already got one. You can also add steering bearings which replace the stock plastic bushings in the steering. I believe these bearings are 10mm X 6mm X 3mm, you need 4 of them.

If you want to improve you turn radius please see my Signature for a link to a great how-to on this.

If you want the radius and a better roll center with it. Go for the HPI savage racing suspension conversion. It will run around 130 ish and you need to upgrade shocks as well. Big bores or LST2's but it has to have single front shocks. It will allow you to turn till you dog bones fall out of the cups. Found that out the hard way... Replaces the poop hubs front and rear Also moves the location of the upper a-arm. I love it and how the truck handles with it. Day and Night.

Servo saver works good. I'm gonna do the turn mod soon. Ive used Rechargeables and normal AA's and they both turn decent once youve got the servo saver and crank that ***** down.
