Hello all I have had my Savage for a while now and at first I thought I would keep it nitro. But then realized I forgot how much I hate nitro and all the tuning needed for every change of weather and all the extra stuff needed to carry around.
So I desided to do an electric conversion to brushless. The parts I have used so far was the Flux Idler gear set.

I knew I kept all thoes used glow plug gaskets for a reason. They work perfect and are the perfect thickness to remove all the side to side slop in the transmission on each gear set.
I then started on making a home made motor mount.

But didn't get very far when a friend offered his brand new Flux motor mount and motor plate for trade if he could have the 4.1 from the savage. So I got that motor mount ensted along with a bunch of new savage spare parts.

After I installed the motor mount set. I already knew but in a moment of duh I realized I'm ether going to need the Flux TVPs or do something a little more drastic. But this being a budget build and the flux TVPs being hard to find and the ones i can find are rather expensive. I took the Drastic route.

I cut the side of the TVP out to clear the motor and mount. I did have a plan in mind before I went Dremel crazy on the chassis.
I made a support bracket that pretty much replaces the section I cut out. And is screwed in place with the one main chassis screw in the back that connects to the rear bulkhead. And made a new hole in the TVP for a 2nd screw with locknut. And the 3rd screw is the rearward screw that goes through the roll bar the support bracket the TVP and in to the transmission.
Oh ya the set thats going to be powering this beast is the SkyRC Toro x8 150 Amp ESC with the Toro x8 6 pole 1900KV motor.
Also looking for a little advice and opinions on two things
1- What type of battery trays do you all think I should go with the stock Flux ones or the basic trays with Velcro Straps?
2- Where would you guys suggest I mount the ESC and How?
