Thanks guys. Na, no video yet. I'm still waiting on the spur assembly and pinion. should be done this week and a video to go along with it :)

Thanks, I built the flm truck myself awhile back. The flm lcg tvp's and swaybar sure do help out. I know I could go full throttle around a turn In grass and it won't even tip over.

If it won't tip over, it's too slow. I can't do even part throttle turning without flipping over in the grass. Forget about dirt or pavement. Just stock with 2S batteries. Have you tried full throttle turnaround in the grass? I notice you said it wasn't finished yet. I look forward to your video. Please try a full throttle turn around in the grass for us.:) I really like the Wheels and Tires you have on it, what are they?

Lol na, it wasn't too slow with the 5.9 it would flip if I let off the gas around a turn but if I have the gas pinned full throttle goin around a turn sharp as I can it won't flip it, it just bites and rips the grass :) has something to do with the low sent of gravity amd the sway bar not to mention how you have your shocks setup it also might have something to do with the weight of the truck too lol I'm not sure how it's gonna handle now with the weight in different areas and it being brushless now :-o
The tires are proline 4o series mulchers with axial rims.

Yeah, it does look pretty low. Looking forward to the video. Looks like you did a great job. I'm gonna check out the wheels and tires. Thanks man. I wanna see if this rascal will roll over. I'm pretty sure it will with stock height and width click pic for more shots.:)

Yea I think how wide my truck is might be a factor too. It's 19 1/2 inches wide from outer wheel to outer wheel.

Yes, I used regular extended flm tvp's. A flux trans and a integy motor mount conversion piece.

So I decided to convert my other savage as well. This one is going to be a center diff setup.

more to come when I get more parts in. I plan on running the lipos on the front center top like my other savage.

I would like to know where you got the ESC mounting plate...

Tweaked can correct me if I'm wrong. If you are speaking of the truck in the 1st post, he made that ESC plate. Also he is using FLM's servo mounts to mount it to the TVPs.

Yes it's custom. I redid the esc mount where's it's somewhat tucked now.

What steering linkage are you using on this truck? The turnbuckles

I was running some titanium ones but they snapped. I then ran some integy ones and they bored them selves out so now I'm running stockers.

Just saying but someone a over said you couldn't turn while on throttle without flipping but I seen otherwise In the videos. Nice work. What axle stubs are you using?

Around how much did the conversation cost? I have been keeping my eye out for a striped down roller, I thought it might be fun to have a could as well.

Yea only time it flips over is if I take a slow turn other than that its a wild beast.

I'd say the conversion cost me roughly around $300.00 on one build and around $400.00 for the other build. I can't say which I like better because both trucks have differnt characteristics.

I changed out the integy motor mount with a flm motor mount. The integy motor mount is junk.

I'm running scale xl 5.9 axles on one savage and on the other savage I'm running the FLM extended beefed up axles.

I like your build. I used some of your build for an example of how I did mine. I really liked the center battery mounting. I don't have the FLM towers so It took a bit of customizing to fit my SMC 2s up front. I went with the Kershaw LCG mount.

I was worried about some of the issues people had with him but my stuff was shipped fast and looked good. Almost a FLM finish.
With the FLM motor plate and TVPs the largest pinion I can fit is a 19 or 20. I had a 21 and the motor plate sat cockeyed. I was considering cutting the TVP. but I was afraid it might hurt the rigidity of the truck at its heaviest point. So I went with a 17t pinion and it fits fine.

How does your truck hold up with the TVP cut?
