I bought my truck four years ago and never had time to break it in. Finally this week i had the chance to break it in .Did four to five tanks then started to give it more push.I started to notice the truck had trouble swtching to 2nd gear.Is there any thing i can do to fix this????HELP

probably runing a little rich on the top end still .. If your done w/ break in start leaning it out a little

yes these nitro engines depend on rpm's to shift and if your running to rich the rpm's don't get high enough for it to decide to shift!! also, well on my savage x rtr even after i was done tuning it still wasnt shifting so i had to adjust the shift points and ta da it changed gears smoothly after that!!! theres threads here at the forum explaining adjusting your shift points so take a look at those as well!! i just used my manual though as its not to hard to do!!!

I agree with everything the guys said above, but before you play with your shift points, make sure your slipper clutch isn't slipping. The 2-speed depends on RPMs to shift, and if there's a lot of slippage, the input shaft of the trans won't be spinning as fast as it needs to be.

Also, here's another welcome to the forum!!!

Good points all!
Mine did the same when it was new-wouldn't shift. I messed and messed with shift points and it was very frustrating. All it was was out of tune. I reset trans to stock and leaned that sucker out and bam! Second gear lol.

It took you 4 years to get to play with your truck? I had to read that a couple times to make sure my eyes weren't playing tricks on me.
Its probably just mad at you for leaving it in the garage all that time and it wants to teach you a lesson.
