I'm startin a my build should be basher ;-)
i have a savy x that ill be usin as a donor parts

i have a d8t tank
on motor I'm leanin on lrp .28
will be addin more parts as we go on

here is the startin parts

any suggestion will be greatly appreciated 🙂

You should hold off on the motor. I think the new lrp .32 is gonna be sick. It'll be out next week. Ive got it pre ordered.

29/9 diffs are a must as well, and the two speed outta the x ss have all metal gears.

here is the donor truck w/ miss match tires. lol

starting tearin them down and cleanin up. this is what i find. any recommendation?

also need to upgrade the brakes

here is the d8t tank and rpm receiver cover. I'm goin to use. anyone knows what item/part# of radio shack box? i might use that since it fit inside next to tank

went to LHS to finish my tranny and pick up fuild and rims

finish the tranny with new slipper and dual brake

install them with tvp's

shorten d shock. this will do for now.

install d d8 tank

mosaics if you looked at my build for the idea with the radio shack box , the box is called a small project box and it is very tight to get beside the tank, it does require some dremiling to make it clear.

build is looking good so far

Nice start.. you'll love the lrp engine either one you decide on ..lrp are all I run.. my truck puller I'm building hopefully will be running 2 of the lrp 32 s. In it. ..

Ohhhhhhhhh and nice touch with shortening the shocks makes a huge difference. ..

after a few hours workin on it this is how it look now.

finish the rear end. change the bearings, diff oil and shock oils

have to stop after my hand startin to hurt from metacarpal fractured.

Nice stance with the shock mod you'll love how it don't roll over any more at wot. ..

went ahead and get a lrp .30 and ofna 086 exhaust

body should be fine for now but def gettin a new 1 when this body get beat

yes I'm lovin d lrp right now. has so much torque cant imagine hows d new .32 will be. i used to have picco p3 .28 at my kyosho inferno gt2 and i lovin that engine also. d lrp for d $$$ you cant beat it. I'm goin to get lrp .28 and puttin that to my kyosho inferno gt2 🙂
