i was wonder what things i can do to a .21BB nitro star engine to pull more power out of it and I'm running a 49tooth spur gear if i change to a 52 tooth spur gear will it pull wheelies

the only way you'll get a .21 powered savage to wheely is to ditch the .21.
back in the day, we would drill the carb out to 21/64'' and that really helped with the bottom end and top end. of course you wouldn't notice the gain if you had the stock airfilter and/or plastic pipe.
the savage.21 came with the 52 tooth spur and 14 tooth clutchbell so you will notice better torque witht he 52 but unless you tighten up the suspension--alot-- you won't get wheelies with that engine.

I found like a 12 or 13 tooth clutchbell when I forst got my .25. I don,t know if that and the 52 tooth will make the .21 come alive or not but It made the darn .25 do backflips. But more power pretty much just requires more motor. just the spendy way is all.

yeah what about tuned pipes because I'm waiting and looking for a good deal on an axial .28 or .30 after i convert my diffs from a 2 bevel gear system o a 4 bevel gear system

i just got an axial .28 of towerhobbies for $119 the regular price of the motor is around $255. its a very strong motor pulls wheelies all the time
