LRP ZR .32 spec 4 pullstart cord

hi, i broke the pull start cord on my xl with a lrp zr.34 spec 4 engine. how do i fix this? any idea? i am not sure if there is a replacement pullstart cord since i believe lrp already run out business.

Didn't OS make the engines for LRP or was it SH? I'm sure there is a replacement pull start, Roto, or Tiger Drive that will work. You'll have to do some digging.

You can use pretty much any replacement pull start rope for any engine. You just have to take the starter apart, remove the old rope and put in a new one. If it's too long and all the rope doesn't fit on the spool, cut it.

If you take it apart to try repair it, be very careful when you remove it from the engine. There is a spring coiled up in there that pops out easily and it is a real pain in the butt to get it back in. Found a replacement for you........

If you buy that, don't use the stupid screws that come with it. They strip out very easily.
