I finally got some 30% trinity fuel today for my new powerhouse...the LRP. It is about 30 degrees outside and I am trying to break that bad boy in using the heat cycle method. I have the head wrapped in aluminum foil and a sock wrapped around that. I have already run 3 five minute cycles, but I couldn't get my temps up. On the first two cycles, I got to about 120-130. On the third cycle, I ran it a little harder (more throttle) on the savage stand and leaned the HSN out about a 1/2 turn. My temps only got up to about 170. I know it is important to get the temps up to operating range (200 or so). Do you think I should just slowly lean out the HSN until I get there? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
