Hi,

I have a savage XL with a blown K 5.9
in. Just ordered an lrp.32. My question is will my old exhaust, clutch, flywheel etc fit new engine ok? Also are engine mounts the same or do I need to order anything else to go with it?

My LRP motor fit on the standard motor mount just fine ?
Because I'm pedantic, I'd put new clutch shoes onto the motor just so everything is fresh - flywheel should fit on fine tho, just don't damage it when taking it off the old motor ?

Old exhaust will work but you're probably better off getting a tuned exhaust, makes a world of difference in torque of the motor. Not to mention that they sound pretty great too!

You may need to find header gaskets though. The HPI header is a bit larger than some and the gasket that comes on the LRP engines seems relatively thin, so you might need an HPI gasket which is a bit thicker so it doesn't leak all over.
