looking to lower my x

I'm looking to lower my x 1 for more handling and 2 cuz the stock is just too high i don't like it. what should i buy for it i wanna race around on pavement and loose gravel (not mud) any thoughts on the type of tires i should get... i like the dirt bonz just cuz of there width and amount of grip.

I use BB's with hellfire truggy shafts in them. Perfect height. You could also change the tower and go for a truggy shock itself. I have plain hellfire shocks on another truck.

To lower it you take and add fuel tubing to the shock shafts on the inside of the shock body. Your choice in tires is good either that or badlands.

the shock mod works great!!! about 1/2" to 3/4" will do

Those rubber stoppers from the shocks would work better than the fuel tubing trick because they are much more 'stout' in their construction.

I just rebuilt my bb and found out that the fuel tubing I installed last year broke down and fell apart....

I went to local hardware and bought solid rubber spacers....

Thanks crash I always use HD rubber so it is good to know about the fuel tubing

I had the same thing happen to me...fuel tubing softens up and disintegrates. The Hellfire shafts are the way to go.
