hello i just converted my savage into a 5b and i'm looking for some new LiPo's.

i'm running it with my standard flux motor and esc and a 18/44 gearing and big joes (i just cant stay away from them lolz)

I think of buying 2 or 3 5000mah 6 cells packs, 6 cells because it's an easy fit inside my tvps but not sure if there's more trouble with one pack of 6 cells or 2 3 cell packs, i never used one 6 cell pack so...

these are the batts i'm thinking of:
5800mah 25c

5000mah 40c

what do you think? my previous batteries where 5000mah 3 cell with a 20c rating, never had any trouble with them but people seem to say you need a higher C rating?

plz help me out and if 2 packs of 3 cells is better than 1 6cell pack plz let me know also coz i'm not going to solder seperate cells together, it scares me lol :)

Personal opinion - always buy the highest C rating you can afford - better performance, less abuse on the cells (less swelling) and personal rule - always buy a hard pack!

today i tested my 5b flux with 2 8000mah 20-30c packs and it stuttered after +/- 10mins.... esc was cool, LiPo's no warmth at all and the motor also, only thing that was "hot" (i could still touch it with my fingers but it was hot) were the connections where the motor wires plug into the esc.

its a 2200kv mamba combo on 18/44 gearing...

what could be wrong?

all esc settings are set on moderate settings (throttle and brake settings, punch controll) not to abuse the esc, LiPo's and motor and i'm also driving very cautious coz i don't want to damage anything.
