LiPo receiver packs?

Thinking of getting a LiPo receiver pack but know nothing about them. What can you guys tell me? Anyone use one? What do you use to step down the voltage? And are there really any benifets?

http://www.hobbico.com/radioaccys/hcam6415.html this would be the route to go its a shame this is the only life rx pack thats avaible in america, whats better is its 6.6v wont fry servos no need for a regulator like you do with lipos and its way longer lasting than nmih and has the same runtime as a LiPo. downside is you need a charger that dose Life. Now muchmore racing and lrp make LiFe rx packs just not in america

you would have to get a regulatior switch so you don't burn everything up.

That's what I was gonna say. If you have "High Voltage" servos, not only do you NOT need to step down the voltage you also get more output from these servos when run with 7.4V.
