Anybody using LiPo or life receiver pack? If so how u mounting them in the stock servo box? Do bec's have a cut off or some way of letting u know its at it cut off? Thinking of going LiPo or life cause I haven't had much luck with NiMH receiver packs. Thanks for ur input.

Also it says with the life batteries u don't need a regulator or bec but its still .6 volts over does that not matter?

you may need a 6v regulator to run 7.4 pack or you may smoke your RX or servo's , most servo's and RX are 4.8v to 6v .
If your running a 6v RX and servo's you be ok with a 6.6v li-fe pack with out a 6v regulator .
Most 6v servo's and RX can take up to 7v even tho they say 6v but it's a big risk to take with a $80+ servo .
you can discharged a 6.6v li-fe pack down to 3.26V per cell with out hurting the pack after you break in the pack.
for a For a low voltage alarm look for something kinda like this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/310390765153

not sure if you new this or not..... but I would hate to see some one burn up a good RX or servo by over powering them.
hope this helps
