I have an imax b6 charger and 2 x 2s LiPo 5000mah batteries. Every time i charger them the counter on the charger screen shows fully charged and stops charging but the mah counter reads only 4100-4300 now why is that???

shouldn't it charge the battery all the way up to 5000 because I'm losing about 800mah on both batteries that is a total of 1600mah waste.

I have been asking around for maybe 2 weeks and i couldnt find any answers.

it is mainly caz there is already some charge in the battery so you will not see 5000 mah in it when is done charging......

That's impossible. I use the truck to the point the esc stops the truck from working and there would be no more remote response. Happens all the time unless there is a setting as to the battery level cut off from the esc or remote.

well if ya run a LiPo completely dead then it will not take a charge again, therefor the esc has a LVC cutoff built into it so this does not happen...... geez man read the manual a lil more and maybe you will understand this effect......maybe also read a couple articles on batteries and how they work will make it easier to get the concept.....

All electronics have a minimum and maximum working voltage range. Your ESC/motor will not work down to 0v.......

Therefore you can not fully discharge a battery will running it in that application.

Ok thanks for your help guys. To be honest I did read but wanted To make sure with the experts to fully make sure. Thanks
