What is the lightest rim out there? I really want it to be 17mm also. I want it to be a strong. Right now I have some maximizer beadlocks but they are to heavy for me I really want a lighter rim. So what do you guys think?

I would also like the rim to have offset the more the better

I don't have any experience with SPI wheels so I can't tell you how heavy they are but they do have HUGE offset. What knid of tire are you planning on running? I've heard people say that a dish type wheel with a lower profile tire is better for racing because your eliminating more rubber from the equation, making them lighter than your typical MT wheel/tire combo.

I'm going for Pro-line VTR offset rims with their new caliber VTR tyres next, Pro-line say its their lightest 1/8 truck wheel/tyre combo.

I hear they make your truck much harder to roll in high speed corners (near impossible according to some claims). So if thats what your going for I would say they probably are worth the money.

Yeah thats what I am going for

Anyone know the set that i think it was ofna they have a set of rims that has crazy offset and they have 3 spokes. Anyone know what I'm talking out?

I have a set of dish rims here that are full offset IDK what the mfgr is. on the savage I like 1/2 inch tops more is not better for handling. I love proline dish rims. I have yet to crack a set. I have them in both 23 and 17MM cant go wrong with them

I got proline 17mm hex with a 1/2 inch offset. These feel like the lightest rim I've ever used. Tough and light, can't beat that.
