is anyone using maximizer beadlock's with 40 series tire's?

i really want to pickup the black 1/2" offset maximizer beadlock's, but ive read they are for std size MT tire's.

has anyone tried 40 series tires on them?

Sounds like a no-go to me...I've heard of people stretching Maxx-sized tires onto 40 series wheels, but not the other way around.

Personally I think it would be a good idea. But I think it may be because Maximizers where initially intended to be used for truggy's. Obviously you are not going to want to put a 40 series tire onto a truggy cause it will affect handling and the turning radius in a negative way. You never know though, they may decide to make a 40 series wheel in the future, I know I would probably buy it for my Savvy.
