installing hump pack

[can anyone tell me how to get a 5 cell hump pack into the savage 25 stock radio box.. pack is 2 cells on top of 2 other cells and 1 cell on very top I tried everything it is suppose to fit with minimal trimming of lid, iread until my eyes bleed still can not find answer any help thanx

Is it a 5 AA or sub C pack? I'm assuming its the 5 AA pack as the sub C pack fits easily. I was never able to get the 5 AA pack in the stock location. Mine is attached to the shock tower.

its aa i bought from chris he said it would fit in stock savage 25 radio box just by trimming two pieces on lid
