Info on getting a Blue cooling head please

Awesome to see the site back up! Hey I'm making my truck in cowboys colors, not with all the aluminum stuff, but I ordered the RPM upper and lower a arms. I would like to get a blue, or blue and silver cooling head. How do I know which one to get? What specs do I look for? There are a bunch on ebay, but I don't know what would be compatible with my 4.6. And if you guys have any other suggestions on other things I can change without sacrificing strength please let me know! Thanks guys, nice to be back!

well if you want a silver head the cheep way just remove the anodizing from the stock one !!!!!!! Ive heard the ez-off oven cleaner works great for it!!!

I would use a Nova cooling head-silver and shiny! And then cap it off with one of those blue plastic head protectors.

I have seen blue and red aftermarket heads for the F4.1 on ebay.

thanks for the quick replies guys, big worm, I actually did think about just stripping the color from the stock one. I'm just going to get a new one though. I have read about the nova, great tips oregon and pineapple.....hey oregon, I emailed the guy from the link you sent, he said he only has silver. That was right after I read your post, then a little while later I wanted to check it out again and its now 30% off, so its $30 and shipping........Only one questions left now......it says it makes the engine run up to 40% cooler, but I'm in ohio and its in the single digits degrees F now, do I want the engine to run 40% cooler??? I do like that color, and it would look good with my color scheme

Sorry guys, don't mean to sound stupid and be asking this question on cooling heads. But I just don't know the compatibility when it comes to these, and you guys do. I have looked through the pic galleries in the forum and saw several pics with blue or blue/silver cooling heads. I just want one because its not going to fit the theme of my savage! None of those will work. You can wrap your head with an old sock to help get the temps up with that head. Covering some of your holes in your body or running a new body without holes are another couple ways. I will continue looking around for one in blue.

That is the exact thing I want FX, thanks, but, it doesn't list compatability for the 4.6. Are the F4.1 and the 4.6 the same??

Something that should be so easy is getting more and more difficult. Sorry bout this fellas.

The 4.1 and the 4.6 are not the same. I would think it would be hard to get between the fins to look good.
