Ultimately there is too much info out there as to the best combination of SG and CB combos, so I'm going to ask the experts. I want wheelies from stand still and power to climb what would you guys recommend for this?

Cheers,
Gator

i say 16/52... those are xl gears but should do very well with stardard savage sized tires

gator have you ever rode a moutain bike or road bike with gears ? if you have think of the front changable sprocet as the clutch bell. smaller gear easy to peddle but you don't go very fast. as the gear get bigger it gets harder to peddle but the speed increases. then the rear sprocket is the spur gear. bigger gear easy to peddle. smaller gear goes faster.
tores also can factor into this as a smaller tire can help give it more torque but you have to also know that a smaller tire has a smaller contact patch so it will spin easier.

Thanks for the visual, I used to ride mountain bikes quit alot and never thought of it that way. I'm going to try 49 SG and 16 CB.
