Hey all, Thankyou for letting me into the group!

Recently purchased my first HPI savage after wanting one since I was a kid. Really happy with the truck and had a great first run!
Second run was great but snapped the upper link support arm on the rear. Seen that this has been a problem other people have had with the truck. Has anyone upgraded these or do they just have plenty of spares? Can’t seem to find a good suppliers or manufacturer that does these. If anyone knows somwhere I can get an aluminium upgrade part please let me know ! Please see photos attached for reference!

eBay
In the meantime, you can always swap the left and right uprights to keep running.
It usually takes a good hit to break the stock HPI uprights - I haven't broken any in the past 2 years.

Maybe plastic used in latest version is weaker, if it easily breaks again with new replacement part then look at used parts as previously not had any issues with original plastics.

I have to say, I think lokky maybe on to something here, since HPI relaunched themselves a few years back the quality of most of there parts are sub-standard compared to what they were. All there stuff was made in Taiwan before there fall, now most of it comes from China, also heard that when they went under they lost most of the tooling for producing the parts which was why there was a shortage of alot of parts.
@Alexjones1221 If you keep snapping the hubs you could try the Ally rear turnbuckle delete option hubs. But you will need adjustable top arms as with the ones you have they will give to much negative camber.
